Dear Friends and Family,
On the first weekend in August, I will once again be making my way across the state of Massachusetts, riding in the Pan Mass Challenge, to raise money for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. I would not continue to do this, or ask for your support, if I didn't think it was making a REAL difference. It IS, and every year we're made aware of more breakthroughs, more research, and more positive outcomes! You click and donate, and I'll keep riding.
For 2023, I'll once again be adding an additional day with a good number of my Forza-G teammates - what we call Day Zero. Some call us crazy but we love a challenge! On the Friday of PMC weekend, we start at the NY/MA border outside Lenox MA, and ride 100+ miles to Sturbridge, MA where the PMC officially starts on Saturday morning. Forza-G is 70+ strong again this year - all affected by cancer in some way, including our Living Proof cancer survivors.
While strides are being made, unfortunately this year I add to my list of Why I Ride a few more names of those diagnosed with cancer. We still have a very long way to go before cancers are eradicated and I ride because I’m committed to helping change happen, so that someday we don't have to! 100% of all donations raised go to The Dana Farber Cancer Institute to fund research & patient care initiatives that are yielding therapies resulting in better outcomes, longer life expectancies, and an overall better prognosis for those faced with a cancer diagnosis.
Please consider donating any amount toward my ride using the donate tabs. I really do appreciate your continued support - thank you!
Steve
