In the heat of the summer on August 6th and 7th, I will be making the 192-mile journey across Massachusetts from Sturbridge to Provincetown with many people on my back and in my heart for my FOURTH year. It's tough to put into words how truly special this weekend is and I'm so excited to dust my bike off, get air in my tires and get back out there.
Cancer has interjected itself into the lives of my family members and my friend’s families too often to count. I’m on the pursuit to raise money and support the PMC & Dana Farber in the efforts to raise money for research on this terrible beast; I hope and pray to see a cure in my lifetime.
I bike in honor and in memory of my uncle Cris Licudine, Cheryl Boli, Bette Cataldo, Stephanie Whooten & Samantha Bourque; taken from us with so much life to live.
I also bike for Dana Farber's incredible work towards the continued health of my mother Mary O’Malley Licudine, alongside my uncle Dennis Stampfl (two-time survivor), Missy Stampfl, Noreen O’Malley & Kevin Eldracher.
Any donation goes such a long way and is greatly appreciated. Please know that 100% of proceeds go directly to Dana Farber. Thank you so much for your generosity and for supporting this cause near and dear to my heart!
