Unfortunately, cancer has been a part of my family's life since i was a kid. I remember my mom volunteering for the the American Cancer society after losing her mom to cancer. Since then, my family has lost grandparents, sisters, cousins, aunts and uncles to cancer. Since losing Cindy, there has been so many similar stories from family and friends. Seems like cancer is everywhere wreaking havok among us all. It's why I've committed to ride the PMC and fundraise to support cancer research so that someday we will not lose our moms, dads, brothers and sisters, wives and husbands or friends to this ruthless disease. Many of you reading this have helped our family personally, now I'm asking that, if you can, please give again, because we all know someone touched by cancer. I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. 100% of rider-raised revenue goes directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure. It may be too late for so many, but there is a chance to make a positive impact for those currently in treatment and for the future. Please give and I'll keep putting in the miles so one day, no one will have to hear those fateful words.
