Why I Ride ...
I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. In fact, last year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure. I first rode the PMC route in 2004 after the dealth of my Mother due to Cancer and my close work friend, Alan lost his battle with melonoma and left behind four children under 12 years old and a wife. Last year I rode again as many friends are currently battling cancer or have died including my dear father-in-law, Barr.
Like last year, I'm riding in 2024 with TEAM PILGRIM CHURCH SHERBORN'S PMC. A select group of teams are paired with a Pedal Partner: a young person sick with cancer, and getting treatment at Dana Farber. Our team supported Chloe Kincade-Crean in 2023 PMC and will do so again this summer. Choe is an amazing 4-year-old girl who loves being creative. Her hobbies include crafting, baking, doing puzzles and lego sets, and playing with her little sister. She is so strong, brave, and resilient, which is why we call her Courageous Chloe Please donate to help all kids like Chloe have the chance to beat Cancer Thank you!
