In 2019, my mom, Storey Hart, lost her 6 year battle to cancer and it shattered my world. I felt like I needed to find a way to channel my grief and honor my mom's amazing strength and spirit so in 2022 and 2021, I joined my dad in honoring my mom's memory by committing to fundraising and riding just shy of 200 miles over 2 days in the Pan Mass Challenge. Since joining this cause, I have raised $15,687 thanks to my amazing supporters! This year I'm back at it and will be riding 186 miles over 2 days in August with the goal of raising $6,000. This year I'm riding for my mom, my mom's dear cousin Janet Johnson, and my mom's close friend Terri Brean, who both passed away due to cancer in the last year. The PMC raises millions of dollar every year for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute's commitment to finding a cure. I ride for all those that have experience the devestation of losing a parent or other loved one to this horrible disease. I ride so that one day cancer doesn't end lives.
