In 2019, my mom, Storey Hart, lost her 6 year battle to cancer and it shattered my world. I felt like I needed to find a way to channel my grief and honor my mom's amazing strength and spirit. Last year, I joined my dad in honoring my mom's memory by committing to raising $4,000 and riding 111 miles in the Pan Mass Challenge. Despite my minimal training I finished the ride in under 9 hours and exceeded my fundraising goal, raising a whopping $9,142 thanks to my amazing supporters! This year I'm back at it and will be riding 162 miles over 2 days in August with the goal of exceeding what I raised last year. The PMC raises millions of dollar every year for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute's commitment to finding a cure. I ride for all those that have experience the devestation of losing a parent or other loved one to this horrible disease. I ride so that one day cancer doesn't end lives.
