Why I ride...
I ride becuase of the profound impact the Crus11tour Team has had (inception in 2017') on the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in the fight againmst CANCER! The Crus11tour began with Davey raising funds through his participation in their 100 hole golf marathon (June 2016) before he lead a 9 member Boston Marathon Crus11tour team (April 2017). Crus11tour changed it's focus to the Pan Mass Challenge (2018'~ 2024') in order to include more team participation with a team that now surpasses 100+ riders . Our collective Crus11tour team fundraising efforts to date have now surpassed the $6,200,000 mark as we now turn our attention to the 2024' PanMass'! To those who have supported the Crus11tour to date and for those who will support us in the future... thank you, as we are ALL making a huge difference in the fight against cancer while keeping Davey's memory at the forfront of our efforts. 100% of money raised goes directly to the David Hovey ~ Crus11tour Fund @ Dana Farber Cancer Institute (lead by Dr. David Reardon) for their tireless committment to finding a cure for cancer. As I have said all along, I am NOT a marathon runner nor a long distance rider but rather an athlete trying to do my part to help find a cure for Glioblastoma Brain Cancer in Davey's memory ~ #11. I am humbled by your past support of my annual rides and respectfully ask that you support me again this year, irrespective of the amount as every dollar helps. We are all in this together. This insidious disease impacts everyone, whetehr family, friend or collegue... thank you for joining me in this fight!
