Dear Family and Friends,
August 4 and 5th I will be riding in my 9th PMC from Sturbridge to Provincetown MA, in support of the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
Each year I ride with with Team Deb, in loving memory of my special friend Debby Teplow who died from brain cancer in April 2007.
Deb was an amazing woman; a loving mother, wife, sister and daughter, a gifted psychologist and an invested, caring friend. I ride on behalf of all of Deb's friends, who love her and miss her as much as I do.
I ride to honor the life of my father, Robert Schneeman who died from metastatic bladder cancer in April 2005. My father lived a full life, but he was taken from us too soon. He was a compassionate courageous man who was generous with his wisdom and humor. I wish he could be here today to share in the lives of his grandchildren, some of whom were too young to remember him.
I ride to honor those individuals who have won their fight against cancer, or are undergoing treatment now, with the hope that they can look forward to healthy futures.
Mostly I ride because channeling my grief into something positive like the PMC seems like the only reasonable thing to do.
Dana Farber provides hope- Please donate to the PMC; you will be making a difference!
