This will be my 15th conscutive PMC, once again making the 192 mile trek from Sturbridge to Provincetown. I'm riding again this year because cancer touches all of us. I'm riding in honor of my sister-in-law Margie who is now a cancer survivor. I'm riding in memory of my Papa Les and my Uncle Mickey who both died of cancer years ago. I'm riding in memory of my lifelong friend Al's mother, and my good friend Jim Barrett, both of whom lost their battles with cancer in the last few years. I'm riding in honor of my mother, my Aunt Margo, and my neighbor Nan who are cancer survivors, and my kids' Great-Nana Anna who successfully completed treatment at the age of 85 and is still going strong at 98. And I continue to ride in support of my co-worker and friend Tom who was diagnosed with multiple myeloma 15+ years ago at the age of 49 and continues to fight this deadly disease.

I'm riding again because the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute are among the best in the world at providing care to patients and their families and are instrumental in providing the hope of one day curing this deadly disease. I'm riding because 100% of the funds we raise go directly to the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber to help in this pursuit.

Mostly, I'm riding with the hope that we can help to find a cure so that in my children's lifetime, cancer can become just another treatable and curable disease.
