I cannot believe that this is year 10 riding the PMC! Every year when I sign up I get this surge of adrenalin knowing what's store over the coming months -- the training, the fundraising, the team events and gatherings, the camaraderie, and, topping it off, PMC weekend -- the most soul-nourishing weekend of the year!

As in years past, I will be dedicating my ride to research to find a cure for pediatric brain tumors -- an area in dire need of funding. Kids living with brain tumors are fighting a battle against time, and they need our help. While brain tumors and tumors of the central nervous system are the most common forms of cancer in kids 0 - 14, there isn't a lot of funding for them, and research has only recently started to take off. A Catch-22 of research is that in order to get government funding, it must first be funded in other ways, and show promise.

This year, I will ride from the Wellesley to Providence -- roughly 165 miles over two days.
