This August I am back again to participate in my 7th PMC. Once again I will ride ~190 miles over 2 days from Sturbridge to Provincetown.
This year I celebrate 20+ years since my own cancer diagnosis, once I was back I couldn't imagine not riding being around 1000's of riders and volunteers all focused on a singe objective is incrediblty inspirational. Curing Cancer. This August, now at 21 years I am excited to help cross the $1B fundraising line.
I am active, healthy and thriving today due to the amazing treatment from my doctor at DFCI and the groundbreaking research that the funds raised through the PMC has enabled over the years.
Many of us our touched by cancer whether it be ourselves, friends or family. We have made a lot progress over the years but there is still a long way to go in order to have amazing outcomes for all, and hopefully someday a cure.
I ride because I am LIVING PROOF that the contributions made do make a difference. I ride for all the survivors I know as well as in memory for those who have lost there battle.
I ride to help fund research and treatment and hopefully someday a cure so we can all be cancer survivors.
I am asking you to make a contribution to my ride and Dana Farber so we can continue the progress.
