Why I PMC
I am so proud to ride and fundraise for the PMC, because this is a cause that changes and saves so many lives. The PMC is a life-saving organization that benefits the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. 100% of the rider revenue goes directly to help life-saving cancer research and treatment at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
This year I will be doing the Reimagined ride and am committing to riding 85+ miles over the weekend of August 2nd. I am looking forward to completing some of the miles while pulling our son in his bike trailer and will complete the rest of the miles on my Peloton.
When I signed up for my first PMC six years ago to ride with my friends and colleagues, I didn’t realize how life-changing this entire experience would become. I didn’t have a road bike, hadn’t cycled more than 20 miles at once and had no idea how I would complete one day at 80+ miles, never mind two days of 165 miles. Needless to say, the PMC slogan, “Commit, You’ll Figure it Out” became a reality for me. I’m thrilled to do all I can to support the PMC again this year.
Thank you so much for your support!
