Year 9!!!
This year, I’m doubling my commitment — riding 185 miles over two days as part of the Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) on August 2–3. I’ll ride from Wellesley to Provincetown, and I am once again proud to be part of Team Flames — a remarkable group of Dana-Farber doctors, researchers, nurses, patients, and survivors, united in the mission to fund lifesaving cancer research and care.
This ride is more important than ever. The doctors on our team have shared powerful stories about the breakthroughs made possible only because of donations through the PMC and Team Flames — advances in targeted treatments, better-tolerated therapies, and, most importantly, lives saved.
Each year, I ride in tribute and in honor of my husband David, my dad, my mom, my mother-in-law “Ma,” and a growing list of family and friends who have faced or continue to battle cancer. Their names — and those of your loved ones — ride with me, pinned to my jersey, carried in my heart. As the list grows, so does my determination.
Thanks to your incredible support, I’ve raised over $74,000 so far — and this year, I’m setting my most ambitious goal yet: $25,000.
In honor of doubling my riding mileage, I invite you to consider doubling your donation — to help fill the funding gaps and keep hope alive for countless patients and families. 100% of rider-raised funds go directly to Dana-Farber, and Team Flames’ efforts specifically support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Program and Adult Oncology.
If you’d like me to ride in tribute to someone in your life, please share their name. I would be honored to carry them with me on this journey.
Thank you for supporting my ride and this vital cause.
