Hello! Thank you so much for visiting my Pan-Mass page!
Like most of us, I've witnessed the terrible effects that cancer has had on my family, friends many people close to me. Since I'm not an oncologist I've decided to channel my motivation to help by making good use of these 30-year-old legs. So I'll be hopping on my bike this August 5th and 6th and riding 160 miles across Massachusetts to fundraise for cancer research.
I've chosen this cause in particular because the PMC channels 100% of every rider-raised dollar directly to the Jimmy Fund, which solely supports the fight against cancer at Boston's Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. All donations go to Dana-Farber's doctors and researchers and provide the resources they need to discover cures for cancers and improve the chances of survival for cancer patients around the world.
It's also not a coincidence that I have two very photogenic individuals on the right!
Dana Farber's research and immunology treatments have proven effective for Karen Nardella for the past 18 months. And I've been so lucky to celebrate special moments like these with Karen and Jason!
