Why I Ride ...
I ride in honor of our oldest son, Charlie, who was diagnosed and treated for Acute Myelogenous Leukemia in 2007 at the age of 3. AML is rare in children, with only a 50% cure rate. Because of the treatment he received from Dana Farber doctors at Children's Hospital Boston, he beat the disease. He continues to be happy and healthy!
I ride to raise money for Dana Farber that funds support for patients and families of Dana Farber and also research into new life saving cancer treatments.
