Each year I ride in the PMC, I ride in honor of the people I love who have been taken by cancer or touched by it in some way. Members of my own family who suffer or have been taken by cancer stemming from HNPCC (commonly known as Lynch Syndrome), loved ones in the family of my significant other, and the loved ones of dear friends. They have all received excellent care in their battles with the disease. This year it is especially meaningful to me. My Aunt had her cancer return. After months of chemo, and lots of nail biting for the rest of us, we recieved the good news is that her chemotherapy has been effective! This wouldn't be possible if it weren't for the amazing efforts of this program supporting doctors, researchers, and other caregivers. Even the smallest donation counts! Thank you. I can't tell you how grateful me and my family are.
