Please support my ride in the 36th Pan-Mass Challenge!
Today I've committed to raising money
for cancer research by riding in the 2015 Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC).
On the first weekend in August, I
will join 5,500 cyclists in the PMC ride, a 192 mile annual bike-a-thon that
raises money for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) in Boston, a world
leader in adult and pediatric cancer treatment and research.
I am riding so that children
don't lose parents, and parents don't lose children.
I am riding in HONOR of my
friends and family who have fought and are currently fighting cancer, for
friends and family who have lost someone they love to this disease, and with
the hope that someday soon there will be a cure for everyone.
I need to raise a lot ($4,500) and I need to ride a lot (192
miles), both which are daunting. But I'm proud to be taking part in the Challenge
this year.
Please donate to my ride because
YOUR donation WILL HELP find a cure for cancer. 100% of funds raised go toward the ground-breaking
cancer research performed at DFCI, and for patient care.
Want to feel REALLY good about donating? Think about this; without
the PMC, there would be no Dana-Farber research.
Please check out this video
"Where the Money Goes" which features Dana-Farber Cancer Institute
President and CEO, Edward Benz Jr. MD discuss the research advances made
possible by PMC funds.

To date, the PMC has raised $455 million since 1980, and $41
million last year alone, and has been instrumental in coming closer to a cure.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you - for your
consideration and generosity.
Shelley
