Thank you all very much for your past donations! I hope you are all well - happy and healthy!

In 2023, the Pan-Mass Challenge raised $72 million for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute thanks to all of you!

As riders, we receive a PMC Yearbook right before we start fundraising. It’s great to look back on the previous year’s ride. The photos from the Pedal Partner water stop in Lakeville always confirm for me why this fundraising effort is so important.

Pedal Partners are kids who are in treatment at Dana-Farber. Along the route leading up to this water stop, there are large, individual photo posters of each pedal partner. Many of the kids and their families enjoy a fun afternoon at this water stop where there are activities for the kids, opportunities for the riders to spend some time with the pedal partner families and visits and photo ops with Wally and Tessie, the Red Sox mascots. In 2023, the PMC raised $16.8M for pediatric oncology.

The PMC is celebrating a major milestone this year with a goal to reach $1 billion! I’m hoping that you can help us meet this goal!

This will be my lucky thirteenth year as a PMC rider. It has been an absolute privilege to be a part of the PMC and I hope to ride as long as the hips and knees hold out!

The Pan-Mass Challenge traditions will continue in 2024 as we ride as part of Team Lick Cancer:

• In honor and memory of our dear friend, Charlotte O’Shea, who lost her battle with cancer at age six
• In support of patients and families who are in treatment at Dana-Farber
• In support of the mission of the PMC with its commitment to Dana-Farber
