In August I will join thousands of cyclists for the 2024 Pan Mass Challenge, an annual bike tour that raises money for cancer research and care at Boston’s Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. This will be my 25th year of participation.
The PMC raises more money for charity than any other single event in the country, $972 million since 1980. Since 1999, my first year of participation, together we have raised more than $166,000. This year my fundraising goal is $8,000. Fully 100 percent of rider sponsorship dollars go to Dana-Farber.
Please consider sponsoring me in this event.
Dana-Farber President Edward Benz has said, The PMC has made what we do at Dana-Farber possible. When they write the history of how cancer was conquered, the PMC will be in chapter one. It is a real privilege to be a small part of this effort.
As in earlier years, I will share occasional stories of triumph and woe associated with my training.
If you prefer to write a check, please make it out to the PMC, The Jimmy Fund or Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and mail it to me:
