A huge thank you to all who made my Pan-Mass Challenge Reimagined possible ... we had a successful ride on August 7 & 8th! Day 1 was a beautiful ride from Amesbury to Fort Foster in York, ME and back. Day 2 found us on backroads in Merrimack, W. Newbury, Newburyport, Amesbury and Exeter, NH. The weather Gods cooperated and the riding weather could not have been better.
To my many generous sponsors ... thanks so much. In a year that is financially challenging for so many, you helped me raise over $4000 for lung cancer research -- wow!
To the many folks who supported our ride by providing what the PMC could not this year -- thanks for keeping us hydrated and fed for 160 miles! My husband Todd and daughter Amanda; Joy DiFazio; Gail Winslow; Stacey Smith and Howie Singer; Keith Maclean; Mr. and Mrs. DiFazio and Carol Zamprogna ... you all rock! And special thanks to Michelle Baker who came to our house after the Day 1 ride to help us massage the kinks out -- she got us all ready for Day 2!
Thanks to Rev. Joan MacPherson who came out to give us a blessing on August 6th and to Ristorante Molise who fed us well for our traditional carbo-load the night before our ride.
Thanks to my teammates who pedaled alongside me, helped me plan routes, celebrated milestones or came out to cheer us on! LUNGSTRONG is a community I am so fortunate to be part of -- and last but not least, thank you to Diane Legg who inspires all of us, every single day.
If you have not had a chance to donate yet but would like to, there is still time ... donations will be accepted up through October 1, 2020. You can send me a check made out to the Pan-Mass Challenge (5 Ashley Dr. Amesbury MA 01913) or donate online at www.pmc.org and type Robin Schell where it says Find A Rider. Thank you!
Gratefully,
Robin Schell
