Hello Friends, on August 5th I'll once again ride 100 miles as part of the Pan-Mass Challenge, raising money for life-saving cancer care and research at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute of Boston. Our team, Heidi's Heroes, was founded by my amazing wife Heidi Fischer to raise funds for the research of pancreatic neuroendocrine cancer - the disease Heidi has lived with these past 11 year (think Steve Jobs/Aretha Franklin) and pancreatic adenocarcinoma cancer, from which the loved ones of many of our team members have passed. Heidi is committed to ensuring others like her can go on with their lives due to new treatments to fight these cancers. We have 44 team members, committed to raising more than $150,000 for the Dana-Farber. I'm reaching out to my friends to chip in whatever you can in support of our fundraising efforts; whether $5 or $500. I am sincerely grateful for the support so many of you, my friends and family, have given me in my effort--our effort--to make a difference and give hope to those who are told, unexpectantly, You have pancreatic cancer.
