I'm excited to announce that I will be participating in my second Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) for the third year in a row! The PMC is a 186 mile bike ride that benefits the Dana-Farber cancer instute. The ride spans two days (August 2nd and 3rd 2025) and covers the majority of the state of Massachusetts. My ride will start at Sturbridge in central MA and end in Provincetown at the very tip of Cape Cod. This is the last year with the legendary Sturbridge start as the PMC will be transitioning to Worcester for the opening ceremonies next year, so let's make it count!
Last year was a huge milestone for the PMC, crossing the $1 Billion dollars raised mark since it's inception. This is a staggering number and I feel so grateful to have played a role in such a cool milestone. I can't thank all of you enough for your continued support and your contributions towards this goal as well.
I am riding in honor of my dad, who is a cancer survivor. He was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a blood cancer, in August of 2022. After many months of radiation, chemo, and a bone marrow transplant, he has been in remission since April of 2023. This was made possible due to the continued improvement of treatments, a direct result of the work being done at Dana-Farber and other research institutes across the world.
Since there is no existing cure for Multiple Myeloma, continued research is extremely important. By donating to organizations such as Dana-Farber, you are able to make a direct impact and help fund the fight against a wide range of cancers, including Multiple Myeloma.
I’m excited to get back on the bike this year and use my platform to allow your generous donations to make a tangible difference. Thank you all in advance for your support, it means more than you know.
