Why I Ride ...
Cancer affects everyone. For me, it has touched my family in many ways over multiple generations. Jeannette and I are grateful to be some of the lucky ones that have battled this disease and won. Others have not been as fortunate and for those family and friends that have lost their battle, I ride in their memory.
This year will mark my 15th year riding the Pan Mass Challenge, a 180 mile 2-day bike event during the first week of August with the single goal to fund cancer research.
The PMC raises more money for charity than any other single event in the country. This year we'll surpass $1 Billion raised. Our success is the result of a lot of people riding for, and caring about, a cure. And because every penny matters, 100 percent of your donation goes to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
I've made a personal commitment to raise $6,000.00 this year. I hope you can help me achieve this significant goal.
