Why I Ride ...
This will be my 28th year riding in the PMC and will be dedicated to two remarkable women: 1) My Mom: She was 73 in December 2012 when she was diagnosed with lung cancer--she unfortantely died from complications from surgery to remove the nodule. When first diagnosed I thought I would be riding in honor of her as living proof as we call it . . . instead Ill be riding in memory of a women who lived a full, full life and touched so many. 2) My dear friend, Cara Kyles (Cayten). . . she lost her battle with cancer 14years ago. ... she was 38 years old, lifelong friend, mother of a beautiful 3 year old daughter (now 19) . . .I'm dedicating my annual PMC ride to Cara, her daughter and all the kids who have lost a Mommy or Daddy to cancer. . .

We have made such amazing progress in treating/cure many types of cancer, yet we still have a long way to go. Please join us in this quest and show your support for the promising research at DFCI/Jimmy Fund.
