I am a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading the campaign to beat cancer. In fact, last year, 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute’s tireless commitment to finding a cure.
2024 will be my 15th year riding in the PMC. This year I will be riding the Wellesley century, in memory of my wife Sandy, who was diagnosed with Leukemia 18 years ago, and on July 23, 2011 she passed away from complications from this decease. Thanks to Dr. Corey Cutler and the incredible staff at Dana Farber, Sandy was able to enjoy some very special moments with her family and friends, for a few more years.
The incredible pride and passion I experience, from all those involved with the PMC event, is very powerful and life changing.
Far too many of our families, friends, and neighbors have been stricken with this dreaded disease. So it's in their honor and memory, that I will ride once again. It's a way our family can give back, in the hopes, what we do today will help someone tomorrow.
I invite you to join Team Sandy and together we CAN and we WILL make this hope and dream of finding a cure a reality.
Remember 100% of your donation goes to Dana Farber.
Thank you so much for your support.
