The ARLINGTON ANGELS are back again for year 6!
I will be riding in my 6th Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) with the Arlington Angels and have committed to raising $6,000. I am once again asking for your support.
In the past 5 years The Angels team has collectively raised over $870,000. The Team's goal for this year is to surpass $1,000,000!
I know we can do it with the generous support of our families, friends and the Arlington community. I am honored to be a part of this team again this year and make this kind of investment in the future of cancer research and treatments.
As many of you know The Angels ride is dedicated to my nephew, Patrick Doherty, Matthew Griffin and Catherine Malatesta three young Arlington residents who faced their diagnosis with grace, courage and strength, yet for each of them, cancer was relentless.
We ride for our survivors, my brother and our team captain, Stephen, who successfully underwent treatment for pancreatic cancer, for my friend, Ann, who was successfully treated for lung cancer, for my niece, Kate Armstrong, who was successfully treated for breast cancer as well as many other family and friends of our Arlington Angels team. These successes are what give us hope and keep our team coming back each year to train and ride.
I am dedicated to doing whatever I can to help advance research, provide compassionate care, and ultimately find cures for this devastating disease.
On Saturday, August 2nd I will join thousands of cyclists from across the country in cycling across Massachusetts. It will be challenging, but knowing that every mile brings us closer to a cure will keep me motivated every pedal stroke of the way.
I am asking once again for your support in my fundraising efforts for this important cause. 100% of your donation will directly benefit cancer patients and their families by funding groundbreaking research, clinical trials, and supportive care programs at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Please consider contributing to my fundraiser. Every donation counts!
I am grateful for your support year after year! Tricia.
