This will be my 12th year riding the PMC. I have made a personal commitment to do the 2-day, 192-mile ride from Sturbridge to Provincetown and raise $17,000. Over the last 11 years you have helped me raise over $150,000 and reach “Heavy Hitter” and “Top 10%” fundraising  designations.   I am blessed to be able to participate in this tremendous fundraiser and I am grateful to all of you that have supported me throughout the years. 

As I have repeated many times, I ride this year in honor of all those friends and family that have been affected by cancer. I ride in memory of those lost, I ride for all those that are living proof. I ride so that others might be spared the heartbreak of a diagnosis and the long battle to beat the odds. I ride for those who cannot. I ride because I have been blessed with the ability and the motivation.  At this point, I cannot imagine spending my first weekend in August doing anything else!

100 percent of all rider-raised funds go directly to cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund. The PMC is Dana-Farber’s single largest supporter and is 62 percent of the Jimmy Fund’s annual revenue. Since 1980, the PMC has raised $972 million for Dana-Farber.  While every single year is an amazing event, 2024 will prove to be truly astounding because this will be the year we surpass the fundraising milestone of  $1Billion!  To be part of this effort for 12 years has been life-changing.
