What started 6 years ago to support a friend has become a much more personal cause and reason for me to ride. In October 2021 my sister was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma. Through the uncertainty, treatments and family rallying around her, I ride. To support my sister in her incredible fight, to honor her indomitable spirit and courage and to thank all of the incredible people at Dana Farber who have been beside her every step of the way. My sister Karen continues her fight with family by her side and she has asked me to thank each and every one of her care team for the compassion, concern, professionalism and overwhelming focus on her and her wellbeing and all of your that support the effort to Win This Fight! The things we have been able to celebrate, the travel and places she has seen, little ones having their Aunt, Great Aunt and a Great Great Aunt in their lives is something that will forever be cherished and treasured. That she and I can take a ride and explore a new ice cream place on what we call our Ice Cream Dates. All of these memories have been a credit to her and the amazing and dedicated team at Dana Farber. My family and I are blessed and eternally grateful for every moment and new memory. May you be Blessed as well.

I ask for your help providing for the continued support of people and families like mine and all the others that have been impacted. Those that will at some point need to lean in on the care teams at Dana Farber. There is no amount too big or small that won't help those that are in this fight. Whether it is to continue the incredible and groundbreaking research that is being done daily or to allow others to enjoy more Ice Cream Dates with someone special!
