July 2025
Dear Family, Friends, and Colleagues,
In just four weeks, I’ll take part in my 18th Pan-Mass Challenge—a 192-mile ride across Massachusetts to help beat cancer. This year’s ride is deeply personal.
I’ll be joined by my son Will, my nephew Sam, and my twin brother Paul. Together, we’ll ride not only for a cure, but in honor of someone very close to our hearts—my oldest brother, Frank, who was recently diagnosed with stage IV multiple myeloma.
Frank is more than just a brother. He’s a husband, father, and world-renowned professor, a pioneer in the field of cell biology and cancer research. He’s spent a lifetime fighting this disease from the lab—now we ride as he fights it in life.
Last year, with your generosity and matching donations, we raised over $82,000 for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. That’s not just a number—it’s research funded, patients supported, and lives changed.
If you’re able to give this year, I would be deeply grateful. If not, I understand. And if you’re in a position to give a little more, please know your support matters now more than ever.
I would be honored to ride in memory or in support of your loved ones who have faced cancer. Please send me their names—I will carry them with me on my jersey and in my heart with every mile I ride.

Will and I have been training hard. We are ready. And we believe that doing something—together—can make all the difference. Let’s ride for those we’ve lost. Let’s ride for those still fighting. Let’s ride for a future without cancer.
Let’s do this—together.
With gratitude,
Peter McKeon
PS: Thanks to a generous matching sponsor - The Warren Alpert Foundation, every dollar you give will be matched up to $750,000!
100% of every dollar goes directly to Dana-Farber’s life-saving research and patient care.
