Why I Ride ...
Cancer is an illness that has unfortunately effected nearly everyone in one way or another- through the battle and/or loss of a friend, family member, or co-worker, or even a personal battle. I have lost several close friends and family members to cancer: my aunt, rugby teammates, business school classmates, even a classmate of my kids.
This summer I am riding in my sixteenth Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) to raise funds in the fight against cancer. The PMC is a charity cycling event which has taken place for over 40 years and raises money for Boston's Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. I have been training hard for the event and am really looking forward to it. But I need your help in the fight against cancer. I have committed to raise $6,000 to ride in the PMC and would greatly appreciate any donations you can provide to take steps towards eliminating cancer and helping me reach my goal.
We all have been impacted by cancer in some way- a friend, a family member, a co-worker- it is a cause we can all get behind!
