I started in 2006 with the one-day ride form Sturbridge to Wellesley, with my son-in-law, Bryant Mitchell. I had undergone knee surgery and learned cycling was a great rehab exercise. We both became hooked by the entire event, and decided we had to do the original route the next year. I have been riding ever since. In 2011 I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer and saw an entire new side of Dana Farber. I am now a two-time cancer survivor and a proud member of the PMC Proof of Life group. 

I have had too many family and friends effected by cancer. Most recently, I lost my brother in April of this year after a 10-year battle with cancer. This has rekindled the fire to find a cure! I have seen first-hand what Dana Farber does and know the good the PMC monies raised does for patients and families of those cancer victims.
