I’m back for Round 2! After an incredible experience in my first Pan Mass Challenge last year (and shocking everyone — including myself — by actually surviving 162 miles), I couldn’t resist coming back for more. Team Duncan made it an unforgettable ride, and I’m excited to be part of it once more.

Team Duncan, formerly Team WOW, began in 1999 and was lead by Dr. Eric Winer, former Chief of the Division of Women's Cancers and Director of the Breast Oncology Program at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. In 2019, Dr. Winer changed the name to Team Duncan in memory of patient Duncan Driscoll Finigan who was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer in October 2014 and passed in May 2019.

Duncan is the mother of my good friend and co-worker, Alec. Over the years of knowing Alec, I have always admired the legacy and inspiration that Duncan left, along with the amount of fun Team Duncan seems to have while riding for a great cause. I am proud to join such an inspiring group.
