I am riding across Massachusetts to help find a cure for cancer! I will be riding 109 miles on Saturday, August 3rd and 77 miles on Sunday, August 4th (eek!)
The PMC supports the cancer research efforts of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund. Dana-Farber has played a foundational role in more than half the cancer drugs approved by the FDA since 2018!!
I have been very fortunate to beat B-Cell Cutaneous Lymphoma three times at ages 22, 36 and 46. We all have friends and family members who have had their own battles and we know the time for a cure is now!
**Update 7/31/24: The big ride is this weekend, and I am very sorry to say that our team's co-captain Scott Logie just lost his battle with pancreatic cancer on Sunday night. This ride has even more meaning and we will be thinking of Scott with every mile, along with all the loved ones that were already in our hearts and minds. **
The PMC began in 1980 and has raised more money for charity than any other single event in the country - this year we hope to reach $1 billion raised since inception!
Any amount of donation will help us get closer to a cure - 100% of your donation will go directly to research - no admin costs.
TOGETHER LET'S FIND A CURE! Thank you, Pam XO
