I am excited to ride again in the PMC this August, this time in a reimagined ride later this month given a conflict with the actual event date. I am proud to join a large and dedicated team who, through the funds raised by this event, are leading the charge to beat cancer. I will be joined by my sons Will and Matthew as we ride a 55 mile loop around Marthas Vineyard.

Unfortunately, most of us have been touched by cancer in some way. I will be riding in memory of Scott Logie, a Team Velominati teammate who passed recently after a courageous battle with cancer. I am also riding in honor of several friends who have successfully battled their cancer and are an inspiration to all of us.

Each year 100% of rider-raised revenue goes directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure. I am particularly inspired by the fact that the DFCI has produced more cancer cure and treatment protocols approved by the FDA over the last 5-10 years than any other research facility. In fact, 50% of all FDA approved treatments have come from Dana Farber.
