This year I am riding the PMC for the first time. PMC is a bike-a-thon that raises more money for charity than any other single athletic fundraising event in the country - to bring us Closer by the Mile to a cure for cancer.

I am raising funds for lymphoma research as well as for a new program to help parents with cancer. The incidence of cancer is increasing in young adults, and many are affected while still taking care of their young children. It is essential that we develop the right resources to help patients deal with this heartbreaking challenge on top of the already catastrophic challenge of a cancer diagnosis.
