Riding for a cure - My 9th riding year!

Dear Friends and Family,

I’m reaching out once again for your support, encouragement, and cheerleading as I gear up for my 9th year riding in the Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC)—a 186-mile journey over two days, all to raise funds for life-saving cancer research and treatment at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

This year’s road has come with an unexpected detour. Over the winter, I was blindsided by an out-of-control skier, resulting in a dislocated knee. It’s been a tough few months of recovery, marked by three months of physical therapy and a lot of determination. But just yesterday, with my teammate Eileen by my side, I completed my first 20-mile ride. I'm back in the saddle and more motivated than ever.

The PMC is more than just a ride—it's a powerful movement to beat cancer. I ride for my friends Maria, Elizabeth, Donna, Leslie, Jean, and many others who are proud cancer survivors. And I ride in memory of my sister-in-law Sam Tofanelli, her sister Deb, my cousin Diane, Denise, and so many others we’ve lost.

This mission is deeply personal, and your past support has meant the world to me. If you’re able, I hope you’ll consider donating again this year. Every dollar goes directly to Dana-Farber and makes a tangible difference in the lives of patients and their families.
