Dear Friends and Family,
This weekend, August 5th and 6th, I'll be (believe it or not) cycling 162 miles across Massachusetts for my second Pan-Mass Challenge, a national bike-a-thon that has raised over $767 million for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.
The funds raised will go directly towards pushing the boundaries of cancer research and treatment. The faculty at Dana Farber have contributed heavily to ending cancer, whether via breakthroughs in immunotherapy cancer treatments, winning a Nobel Prize in cancer behavior in oxygen-poor environments, or genetically identifying / treating children with the very earliest signs of cancer -- Dana Farber is leading the charge.
Because of the PMC's unwavering and unusual 100% pass through rate, every dollar donated to support my ride will go directly to support the general fund of cancer research and treatment at Dana Farber. Additionally, an anonymous donor has agreed to match every dollar donated.
