Since our nephew Ethan was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2007 at age 5, my wife Kate and I have hosted a charity golf tournament to help our family raise money to ride in the PMC each year. We ride under the name Team Superhero, named after our Superhero, Ethan, who is now cancer free thanks to a bone marrow transplant from his little brother Eliot.
After many years of watching and cheering I decided it was my turn to do a little more. This will be my 4th year riding along side the many who have been impacted by this horific desease. The energy, emotion and passion of each individual rider, volunteer and spectator is an experience like I could never explain. We ride together, we ride for a cure and we ride for a better future. Every mile, and every dollar gets us one step closer to a cure!
Below are the all too many people who will be in my thoughts while I pedal each mile...
Ethan Lent, Josephine Caparulo, Robert Lockwood, Peggy Lockwood, Martin Boyle, Candy Lent, Tony Lupoli, Fanny Lupoli, Joseph Oldenburg, Diane Valenti, Al Pagliuca, Bobby DeJoseph, Kirc Savage, John Cortese, Zena Rose, Loraine DiBiagio, Bonnie Ziliani, Elaine Martin, Mike Valentin, Eileen Ketcham, Brooke Garland, Diane Shackley, Debbie Wiltbank
