I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. At 27, I received a life-changing cervical cancer diagnosis, and although I am still cancer-free nearly 7 years later, the impacts of my illness and treatment will last for a lifetime. This year, my goals for riding are twofold:

1. I want to spread awareness of the disparities in research funding to lethality for gynecological cancers versus other forms of cancer, including a notably large disparity with prostate cancer. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6519051/

2. This year, I lost a second mother to a decade-long battle with breast cancer, and I am dedicating my ride to her. I love you, Claire.
