I ride as a tribute to the incredible courage, strength, and love shown by Fred Allen - a man whose battle with pancreatic cancer was nothing short of heroic. Fred faced each day, each round of treatment, with unwavering grit, fueled by his deep love for his family and an unshakable hope for just one more day together.
I ride for the family he poured his heart into - a family that continues to carry his legacy with grace, unity, and fierce devotion. That legacy lives on through Team Fr3dStrong, a team founded and captained by my fiancée, Kelly, Fred’s daughter. Being welcomed into that family and now riding alongside them as part of Team Fr3dStrong is an honor I don’t take lightly.
Every dollar donated to Team Fr3dStrong goes towards advancing research in gastrointestinal cancers - the same fight Fred faced - with the hope of building a future where fewer families have to endure what theirs did. This ride is about more than miles - it’s about carrying Fred’s spirit forward, celebrating the love he gave so freely, and helping others in his name.
I'm proud to ride in his memory - to help fund the research that brings us closer to a cure, and to give more families the chance at one more day together.
If you feel moved, please consider donating or sharing. Thank you.
