My name is Matthew Wessel, and I am a passionate cyclist, riding for the Phi Kappa Psi at Indiana as well as Indiana University Cycling Club. I am also a dedicated participant in the Little 500 bike race at Indiana University. But beyond my love for cycling, there's a deeper reason why I ride: my mother.

My mother has faced multiple battles with cancer, and her strength and resilience inspire me every day. She received her treatment at Dana-Farber for breast cancer, and I've witnessed firsthand the incredible impact of their work. Dana-Farber not only provided my mother with world-class care but also gave our family hope and support during some of the toughest times.

This year, I am taking on the Pan-Mass Challenge for a second year in a row. This event is more than just a ride; it's an opportunity to support Dana-Farber and the amazing work they do for countless families like mine. I am riding to honor my mother's fight and to contribute to a cause that means so much to us.

My goal is to raise a minimum of $2,000 for Dana-Farber, and I need your help to get there. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference and brings us closer to a world without cancer.
