I'M BACK AGAIN THIS YEAR WITH TEAM VIC!
I rode my first PAN-MASS Challenge with the Vic Firth Team in 2016 and seven years and five rides later, I'm proud to have raised over $21,000 to help find a cure for cancer! It wasn't easy when I was 53 - and certainly will be a challenge at 60 (I turn 61 in September.) It's been a privilege to ride with close friends over the years with Team Vic Firth!
ABOUT THE PAN-MASS CHALLENGE
The Pan-Mass Challenge is a Massachusetts-based bike-a-thon that raises more money for charity than any other single athletic fundraising event in the country. The PMC raises funds for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, a world leader in adult and pediatric cancer treatment and research. Each summer, thousands of riders and volunteers from 43 states and 12 countries participate in the PMC, all with a common goal: to find a cure for cancer.
The best part about this organization is that 100 PERCENT of all rider-raised funds go directly to cancer research and treatment. Since 1980, the PMC has raised $900 million for Dana-Farber. The first PMC had just 36 riders and 10 volunteers. Today, the PMC has registered more than 6,800 riders and 3,000 volunteers!
Over the past 6 years, TEAM VIC raised $172,747 towards this goal. We truly believe in our cause and are humbled by the support we have received. I hope that I can count on your help towards reaching this year's goal. Any amount, no matter how small will help.
To demonstrate my commitment to the cause, I'll match your donation DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR!
Any amount, no matter how small will help me to achieve my goal.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR LOVE AND SUPPORT!
