Dear Friend,

Cancer sucks! There is no other way to put it. Unfortunately, again this past year cancer has taken several loved ones including one of Jenn and my best friend Joyce. Joyce was a young, beautiful loving mother, wife, sister, and daughter who put up a great fight with colorectal cancer with the help of Dana Farber but was taken way too young. She and her family have always been big supporters of our PMC rides.

Because of stories like this, I keep committing to ride the annual Pan-Mass Challenge in a few short weeks on August 3rd and 4th. This will be my 14th time riding almost 200 miles from Sturbridge to Ptown as part of the PMC weekend. The goal this year is to get the total PMC donations to Dana Farber to $1 Billion (yes with a B)! We can use your help!

I will be riding with my brother-in-law Bill and dedicating this year’s ride to Joyce and my father. The PMC is responsible for over 60 percent of all Jimmy Fund revenue and almost 20 percent of Dana-Farber’s unrestricted money. Every year in the United States, 650,000 people die from cancer. Dana-Farber counts on the PMC to deliver funds that allow them to serve the cancer community.
