This year, I have made the decision to ride in the Pan-Mass Challenge - VIRTUAL ADDITION - to support the fund raising efforts of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and will be joining a team by the name of the Patriots Platelet Pedalers ("PPP") - http://www.patriotsplateletpedalers.org/. 100% of the money raised by the team-members is earmarked for Dr. Ken Anderson, the Kraft Family Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, to support his multiple myeloma research and development of novel therapies. Last year, the PPP raised $1,359,734 for Dr Anderson and over the last 12 years have raised $11,023,180.
Below is the link to a video by Dr. Ken Anderson where he discusses what the PMC has meant to his fight to find different treatment options for patients who have been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma:

Due to restrictions from Covid-19, PMC will not take place this year as a large scale event with over 6,000 riders traveling the roads of Massachusetts. Instead, I will ride ride the same distance I registerd for back in January (August 1st - 108.62 miles / August 2nd - 77.9 miles) without the support from the many voluneteers and supporters who line the tradtional routes.
