Welcome to my 2019 Pan Mass Challenge profile! I have decided to take on the challenge once again of completing the two day ride. This year will be my fifth year embarking on this 192 mile ride as a Team Brent Wheels member. Beginning on August 3rd over 5,000 riders will join together with the support of over 3,000 volunteers to take part in this two day journey. The purpose of this event is to raise money for research at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA. The two day ride consists of 192 miles, and a fundraising minimum of $5,000.00. Over the course of the previous four years that I was a rider, I was fortunate enough to raise $20,000.00 total. I am so grateful to be able to take on this ride with my dad, Alan Turner, who will be riding for his 27th year. It is such an amazing bonding experience and opportunity to come together with family and friends as well as new riders along the way all joining together to find the cure for Cancer.
Now its your turn! I am asking for your support and sponsorship by donating to my ride. If you would like to sponsor me: Payments written out to The Jimmy Fund sent to my home address (3 Scott Drive Charlton, MA 01507) as well as submitting an egift from this page would be greatly appreciated.
My story for riding could go on forever, but my grandfather and many close family friends have lost this horrible battle against Cancer. I am sure you may even know someone who has Cancer or has passed away due to this horrific disease. But those arent the only reasons I ride. Being a part of this ride allows me to take part in fundraising cacer research that may one day lead us to find the cure. Please take a moment and consider sponsoring me and being a part of my journey!
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and I hope to hear from you soon!
With love,
Meaghan Turner
