I'm so proud to be a member of team CarGurus for our first PMC ride. If you know me, you know that biking 84 miles is what folks would call a strech opportunity for me - the extent of my biking experience is a leisurely weekend ride along the beach.

After learning that all proceeds from the ride are going to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana Farber Cancer Institute, though, I couldn't turn down this opportunity. I am riding for my teammates at CarGurus whose families are currently fighting this disease, and for my mom - a cancer survivor. We were one of the lucky families that is now able to celebrate 9 years cancer free thanks to her ridiculously tough attitude and great doctors. I am riding in the hopes of giving other families this same opportunity.

100% of the money raised here will go directly to cancer research and treatment. Specifically, the money raised by our team will be routed towards Kirby's Fund (http://www.myjimmyfundpage.org/give/kirbysfund) to support an amazing CarGurus family and another ridiculously tough woman.
