Dear Friends and Family,

Nancy and I have participated in the Pan Mass Challenge together since 2001, our 25th year of participation.

WOOHOO!! 25years!

Most all of you have shared in this work together with us for as many years, and we thank you for all your past kindness and generosity. This effort only succeeds because of you.

We continue to honor the lives of Nancy's childhood friends Corinne and Barb, as well as too many your own loved ones. Our 25-year history of riding has shaped our lives significantly in keeping relationships, influencing how we have invested our time and grown in the many ways cancers' suffering has connected us to you and what matters most - loving and serving others whom we know and many more of whom we do not know. We invite you to reflect upon what your involvement has meant too. We hope it is in those very same ways- and as you continued to ride with us, we hope you too grew to appreciate what little it takes to change lives, and how much more we can give than we thought possible.

These funds have improved cancer research and treatments that lead us all toward increased longevity and a better quality of life. New discoveries and better patient care and cures add up to increasing HOPE for all of us. The wheels of progress only turn because of contributors like you. This is your celebration and we congratulate and thank you.

Riding 200 miles on the first weekend of August, as a metaphor for the endurance required to ride the uphill battle on behalf of those with cancer, we fund raise for the PMC because 100% of the money raised continues to go directly to cancer research and patient care thru the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.

We ride, year after year, inspired by faces of hope in our “pedal partners” (patients undergoing care), faces of hope and joy in the crowds that come out year after year, bearing signs of gratitude from family members and cancer overcomers. Your partnership means that you too, share in the satisfaction of bringing hope and joy to people who need our encouragement and help.
