Dear Family and Friends,
I am BEYOND excited to be riding the 192 mile Pan Mass Challenge in August. This year I am riding with a new found sense of personal gratitude for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. On December 24th, my sister received her first treatment at Dana Farber and I decided that I would commit myself to raising $5,500 for the institute. Six months later, I am incredibly grateful to be asking for your help in achieving these funds, at the same time my sister is saying GOODBYE to chemotherapy!
Watching my sister's incredible journey at Dana Farber has been nothing short of inspirational, as well as eye-opening. Dana Farber not only provides outstanding treatment for cancer patients, but they also provide amazing support to patients and families. There are no words to describe how thankful I am for the nurses, the doctors and the volunteers who work day in and day out to provide comfort and a sense of peace to complete strangers in a time of need.
This year I ride for my fighters - Sara and Jeanne, my angels - Mimi and Grandpa, and my superheros - Dr. Bychkovsky., Dr. Barbie, Myra Tamba and all the staff at Dana Farber. I ride for the strangers we met in waiting rooms, elevators and parking lots. I also ride for your loved ones - whether they be fighters, angels or superheroes.
While PMC 2020 will be reimagined due to COVID 19, please be assured that 100% of rider-raised revenue STILL goes directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Even during these uncertain times, the fight continues with our tireless commitment to find a cure.
With gratitude,
Molly Riordan
