This year, I’m proud to be participating in the Pan-Mass Challenge—a bike-a-thon that raises more money for charity than any other single athletic fundraising event in the country. Every mile we ride and every dollar we raise directly supports Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and its mission to cure cancer.
I’ll be riding alongside my brother, Austin, as part of Team Hannah’s Bandanas, in honor of the lovely Hannah Packman and all our cherished friends and family who have been impacted by cancer.
If you’ve met Hannah, you know how spectacular she is. She’s a fierce friend, a kind and thoughtful human, and among a million other remarkable things, a culinary force to be reckoned with! She also happens to be a childhood leukemia survivor, and the world is seriously lucky that she was cured.
Hannah’s parents, Karen and Jeff Packman, started Team Hannah’s Bandanas while she was in treatment as a toddler at Dana-Farber. Since then, the team has grown into a powerhouse of dedicated riders who’ve raised over $5 million for Dana-Farber. Austin and I are incredibly honored to ride with and fundraise on behalf of this passionate and inspiring group.
Since its founding in 1980, PMC riders have raised more than $1 billion for lifesaving cancer research, treatment and patient care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, one of the country's top cancer care hospitals.
Cancer is evil, and the funds raised will support the innovative work of doctors, nurses, and scientists in their search for cures for cancers and related diseases.
Please consider supporting my ride and helping me reach my fundraising goal. Together, we can make a meaningful impact in the fight against cancer, because cancer f-ing stinks!!!!
Thank you so much for your support.
