This will be my fourth time riding the PMC Pan Mass Challege with Team Brut Force. I also help support the Crush11Tour team as our good friend Sam Covey's nephew passed from brain cancer at a very young age.  Team Brut Force is made up of New England based riders and then there are a few, like me, West Coast stragglers that have joined the team. One of our members faced stage 4 breast cancer and beat it!  She is our top cheerleader and has crushed the last three PMC's I have ridden with her! Oh...and she is a grandmother of two, wait three now, and the mother of three great kids who also ride on Team Brut Force. I met the family behind Brut Force through a close friend of ours, whose husband sadly passed away too early from liver cancer.

I also ride the PMC for all my family members (including my Mom and Auntie Margaret) and way too many friends who have had cancer. Let's work together to raise money to help find a cure, as cancer is the #2 leading cause of death. What's great about the PMC is that 100% of rider-raised revenue goes directly to support the Jimmy Fund and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure!  In 2024 the PMC raised over $75M dollars and in its 45 years of existance, the PMC has raised over $1B, yes B as in BILLION, dollars for research! Our team alone raised over $150k last year and there are only 11 people on Team Brut Force! Crush11Tour has over 100 riders on their team and they raised north of $1M last year.  Join the cause and let's beat, or kick, cancer's ass!
