I know first hand the care provided at Dana Farber, you see I was treated and cured of breast cancer by the amazing team of doctors there. No one wants to be a part of the cancer club, I endured multiple surgeries, radiaton treatment and chemotherapy. I'll never forget the day my teenage daughter volunteered to shave my head rather than watch as my hair started to fall out (this still brings on tears.)

Well if not please visit their web page: https://phattuesday.org This fine group of men & women have raised over $4.2 million dollars in funds for the Jimmy Fund & Dana Farber Cancer Institute, isn't that unbelievable? Each year Phat Tuesday is paired with a Pedal Partner. These are children being treated for cancer at the Jimmy Fund clinic. The team stays in contact with many of our previous pedal partners to support them in their journey to good health. While I was going through treatment, this same group of super heroes brought me dinner, drove me to & from chemo sessions and made me laugh at one of the darkest times in my life. If it wasn't for family, the Phat Tuesday team, and Dana Farber, I might not be here to enjoy time with my granddaughter Iris & grandson Otto :)
